Mario Falkenstein (*1994) comes from Medebach in Sauerland (NRW) and received his first piano and organ lessons there. At the same time as completing his A-levels, he completed his C-level training in Catholic church music. After vocational training as an administrative assistant and several years working in personnel administration, he has been studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Catholic Church Music at the University of Church Music of the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart since 2020. Participation in masterclasses for organ, choir conducting and Gregorian chant complement his musical education. In addition to his studies, he conducts choirs and takes on organist duties in neighbouring pastoral care units.
