The repertoire of Uncinus female encompasses both Gregorian chant and polyphonic vocal compositions. Min Jung leads the polyphonic pieces while Inga Behrendt leads the Gregorian chants. The ensemble is jointly organized and directed by both Jung and Behrendt.
Uncinus female aims to make the essence of choral singing, prayer, accessible. “Uncinus” refers to a neume sign in the Lorraine notation of Metz, representing a single note.
