Ellena Stadtherr studied school music, majoring in organ, at the Trossingen State Academy of Music, church music at the Rottenburg-Stuttgart Diocesan Academy of Church Music and Latin philology at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and the University of Constance. She works as a music teacher and choir director at the Gebhard Community School in Constance. In addition to her main job, she is organist at the Protestant parish of Langrickenbach-Birwinken (Switzerland). As a singer in the Choralschola Uncinus female, she performs sacred concerts with Gregorian chant, and as a member of the Bach Choir Konstanz, she regularly takes part in large oratorio works.
