Elza Loginova

Elza Loginova, born on 23 October 1996 in Snowsk, is a Ukrainian soprano who gives concerts and performances in Germany and Ukraine. She has been studying singing with Gabriele Kniesel at the Freiburg University of Music (HfM) since autumn 2020. Elza enjoys working in the fields of classical and contemporary music.

In 2020 she presented “Drei Lieder von Paul Celan” by Boris Loginov and was part of the “Amadoka” project at the translation festival Translatorium in 2021. She showed her talent at various events, including the “Verfemt” concert of the Denzlinger Kulturkreis, a Viardot song project in Freiburg, charity concerts for Ukraine and many others. In 2022, she performed “imita” by Elizabeth Fußeder. In 2023, she presented the piece “L’orto dei Veleni” by Romeo Manini for the chamber ensemble “Particles” under the direction of Friederike Scheunchen.

Elza took part in the opera choir for the performance of Suppè’s “Boccaccio” at the HfM Freiburg. As a soloist, she performed Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” as part of an oratorio course at the HfM Freiburg. She also took part in the Bach project of the Anton Webern Choir in Freiburg and honed her skills in masterclasses such as the skills in masterclasses such as the “Coloratura Opera Lab” in Lviv (2020, 2021) and the Austrian Masterclasses in Zell an der Pram (2023). Her artistic development has been influenced by personalities such as Tamara Tsarenko, Gabriele Kniesel, Nataliia Stepanyak, Daniel Sußtrunk, Barbara Zubanovich-Baranowska, Barthold Kuijken and Claudia Visca.

In addition to her singing activities, Elza Loginova is also a professional music photographer.
