Andreas Kaiser was born in Augsburg in 1991, received his first piano and organ lessons there and took part in the C-course training programme of the Diocese of Augsburg. From 2016 to 2023, he completed the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in Church Music at the Rottenburg-Stuttgart Diocesan University of Church Music in Rottenburg am Neckar. He received lessons in organ literature playing from Heinrich Walther and Prof. Stefan Palm and in organ improvisation from Peter Schleicher. He also took part in masterclasses with Gerhard Gnann, Guy Bovet and Olivier Latry. In 2019, he received the Pfleghof Scholarship for Organ from the Tübingen Musicological Institute and in September 2022, he won 3rd prize at the International Organ Singing Competition in Neuss. In April 2023, he began postgraduate artistic studies for organ with Prof Jens Wollenschläger at the University of Church Music of the Evangelical Church in Tübingen.
Andreas Kaiser has been a lecturer for music theory in the C-course training of the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart since October 2021 and a church musician at St. Johannes Nürtingen since February 2024.
